There is so much information out there nowadays about plastic pollution that we have pulled together the most useful bits and pieces for you to peruse at your leisure!

If you have anything you think we should include do get in touch.

This guide, Plastic Pollution: Single Use Plastic Impact on our Oceans is comprehensive and beautifully presented, detailing the facts and figures of plastic pollution, the impact on our oceans and marine life, and much more.

Raw Foundation : Raw is a great organisation made up of campaigners and collaborators; with a solution based approach these guys are working hard to get the message across that we need to find a more sustainable way of doing business.  They have produced a great plastic-free guide for festival goers which is a very good read.

If you want to find out more about campaigns based here in the UK check out Surfers Against Sewage:  a grassroots environmental charity. Surfers Against Sewage have done huge amounts to raise awareness about pollution in our oceans and beaches. Their site has plenty of campaigns to get involved with.

If you are interested in all this and want to apply it to your own life but have no idea where to start my plastic free life is a pretty good guide. It is a great resource and directory of plastic free products and information.

If you want to dip your toe in the water a good way to start is by cutting down single-use plastic just one day a week. Check out this blog for inspiration.

We are no strangers to the frustrations and deprivations of this ourselves! Take a look at our scrapbook pages for a glimpse into a crash course in this as Joy attempted to go plastic-free for a month herself.

All of this boils down to one thing really. Change is happening! Big and small…...and you can be a part of it!
