it fits the sink perfectly, is easy to fill, use and clean and looks smarter than plastic. My reason for buying it was to avoid plastic as much as possible in my home, so now the old plastic one is shabby and grotty, I can buy a beautiful new stainless steel one. My only regret is that I miss the drain at the bottom of the old one, it made it easier to empty.
