Insulated Water Bottles

Insulated Bottle FAQs

All our water bottles made from 100% premium 304 (18/8) stainless steel, ensuring durability and a safe drinking experience. Our caps are made from BPA free plastic, LFGB certified silicone and stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Cap with Silicone Carry Handle:

A sturdy stainless steel cap with a convenient silicone handle for easy carrying. Ideal for those who prefer a classic look and easy transport. We us BPA free plastic on the external thread to give a smooth closure and to create a leakproof seal - this does not come into contact with the contents of your bottle. The inner seal and carry handle is made with food-grade LFGB certified silicone.

Chug Cap:

No need for a straw - the chug cap features a wider opening for easy drinking. Perfect for active lifestyles—great for workouts, hikes, or when you need to hydrate on the go. The chug cap is made from certified BPA free plastic and LFGB silicone.

Flip Top Sports Cap with Retractable Stainless Steel Straw:

A BPA free plastic flip-top cap with a retractable stainless steel straw for effortless sipping. Excellent for on-the-go hydration, especially if you prefer sipping over chugging!

Yes, all Elephant Box water bottles are 100% leakproof, whatever cap you choose to use.

No, we do not recommend freezing any of our water bottles! It will invalidate the warranty and warp the steel. If you want extra icy water, pop some ice cubes in the bottle before you head out, or fill it with icy water from the fridge.

For best results and to keep the finish looking like new, we recommend hand washing:

  1. Rinse the bottle with warm water after each use
  2. Wash with warm water and a mild dish soap, using a bottle brush to reach the base and a smaller brush for the lid/straw if applicable
  3. Rinse thoroughly and leave to air dry with the lid off, upside down if possible, so no moisture is trapped inside

For a deeper clean or to remove odours/stains:

  • Fill the bottle with warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda, let it sit for an hour, then rinse well
  • For stubborn buildup, a mix of warm water and white vinegar (left for 15–20 minutes) works well before rinsing

A few things to avoid:

  • Bleach or chlorine-based cleaners
  • Leaving the bottle wet or sealed with the lid on for long periods

Leaving electrolyte drinks, sports drinks, or salted water sitting in the bottle for extended periods.

We recommend hand washing to keep the satin finish looking its best. While the bottles are made from 304 stainless steel, the matte/brushed finish can be more sensitive to dishwasher detergents than a mirror-polished surface — high heat and alkaline detergents can cause cloudy white spots or discoloration over time. This is a cosmetic effect only and doesn't affect the safety or performance of the bottle, but hand washing with warm soapy water will keep it looking newer for longer.

  • Hand wash with mild dish soap and a soft brush or sponge
  • Avoid bleach-based or high-alkaline detergents
  • Rinse and dry promptly rather than letting water sit inside
  • Avoid leaving electrolyte or sports drinks in the bottle for extended periods
