Yes, the silicone tab make a vacuum seal which means they are 100% airtight and leakproof. To create the vacuum seal, press the lid down firmly with the tab open and then press the tab down. To release the seal, simply pull the tab up and remove the lid.

Everything can go in the dishwasher & the freezer & bases of the Prep & Store Containers & Lunch Bowls are oven safe up to 200 degrees celsius.

It’s very important to us that everything we make is comprised of durable and toxin-free materials: These containers are made with 304 grade stainless steel, food-grade LFGB silicone and borosilicate glass.

The steel components of all our products are covered by warranty. Borosilicate glass is known for its durability but it not unbreakable! It’s lightweight which make it more versatile, but try not to drop it from a great height, be a bit more careful washing up & you’ll be fine! Replacement vacuum tabs bases and lids are available for the Lunch Bowls and Prep & Store Ranges.

The Lunch Bowls have a glass base and steel lid and the Prep & Store Containers have a steel base and a glass lid, The rectangular design of the Prep & Store makes them good for stacking in the fridge and freezer and the glass bowl is a nice shape to eat from. It just depends which size and style you prefer!
