Why these sets are in our clearance range

This is a faulty batch. These lids are made from platinum-cured silicone — a naturally soft, flexible material we use because it's food-safe and completely plastic-free. In this particular batch, the lids weren't manufactured to fit quite as tightly as they should, so while they still form a proper seal for everyday storage, they're not secure enough to rely on if they're being carried around, tossed in a bag, or knocked about on the move.

What they're still brilliant for is food storage at home — the fridge, freezer, or pantry. The seal is genuinely airtight and leakproof for storage use, it's just not built to the standard we'd want for life on the go. 

The middle pot in the trio is unaffected by the issue and and fits as snugly as always.

So, rather than send a full batch of perfectly good containers to landfill over a seal that isn't quite right, we're selling this trio at 15% off. If you're mainly storing food at home rather than carrying it around, this is a great way to get the full Seal & Go Trio for less — and it means these pots get used, not binned.
