I loved the idea but I should have thought about the heat of the metal which makes it uncomfortable to drink from or wash in hot water. I regret this purchase but the dishwashing basin is great.
Hi there, I'm ever so sorry you are not happy with the peformance of the cup - although the cork sleeve covers the sides of the cup, youre right, it is possible that you will touch the metal surface on the base of the cup. We're always happy to help over email with any issues. Best wishes

Too hot when coffee poured in and goes cold quickly
Love these, so much better than plastic. Would have liked the option to buy 3 of the same size rather than 3 different sized ones but I can make it work.
