specification

Size  30 x 36cm

Customers praised this thick, organic cotton bag for its quality construction and ability to keep bread fresh. Most found it "well made" and "perfect for a loaf." However, some noted sizing concerns, with feedback that it's "on the small side" and may not fit all bakery loaves. A few mentioned the single drawstring design limits versatility for other storage uses.

Great idea, but on the small size.

Nicely made but doesn’t fit in any of the loafs from my bakers unfortunately and because there’s only one draw string it’s not great for storing oats, lentils etc as they can fall out. Ideally there would be two draw strings to ensure a tight seal at the top of the bag. Pretty redundant in our house now.

Cotton bread bags

Used to use old plastic bags for the bread in the bread bin. Now using the Elephant Box cotton bags. Bread stays nice and fresh.

The perfect bread bag

My wholewheat and rye loaf remained fresh and delicious straight from the fridge without the benefit of a toaster, even in the recent excessive heat. Another excellent bye from Elephant Box and no plastic!

Are these machine washable? Thanks!

Elephant Box

Hi Assumpta
These bags are machine washable, you just need to make sure they are on a cool wash and ideally on the delicate cycle. If you wash them too hot they may shrink. Thanks. Liz
