Seal & Go — Leakproof, Plastic-Free Food Containers

The Elephant Box Seal & Go range is our answer to the plastic tub drawer everyone has hiding in their kitchen. These leakproof, BPA-free food containers swap yellowing, stained plastic Tupperware for food-grade stainless steel and silicone instead — nothing that leaches, stains or holds onto smells. Whether you need a snack pot for a toddler's lunchbox or a leakproof pot for salad dressing on the go, the range is built to be a genuine non-plastic alternative for everyday food storage, not just an occasional-use novelty. Seal & Go — Buyer's Guide

Which pot is right for you?

  • Snacks, toddler portions or weaning → Seal & Go Snack Pots (2 x 100ml)
  • Dressings, dips, sauces or small portions on the go → Dressing Pot Pair (2 x 50ml)

Why choose a stainless steel food container over plastic Tupperware?

Plastic Tupperware stains, holds onto smells, and eventually gets binned once the lid warps or the seal stops working. Elephant Box food containers are BPA-free from the outset, but they go further than that: the base is 304 stainless steel, so it's non-porous and won't stain or absorb flavours no matter how many times you use it for last night's curry or this morning's dressing. It's a genuinely non-plastic alternative, not just a plastic-free label on a plastic product.

Are these food containers really leakproof?

Yes — both the Snack Pots and the Dressing Pot Pair use a food-grade silicone lid that creates a proper leakproof seal, not just a loose-fitting cover. That means dressing, sauces, yoghurt or milk can go in a bag or lunchbox without a second thought.

What are they made from?

Every pot in the Seal & Go range has a base made from 304 grade stainless steel, with a lid made from food-grade LFGB certified silicone. No plastic touches your food at any point — it's BPA and phthalate free by design, not just by certification.

Are they dishwasher and freezer safe?

Yes — every pot in the range is dishwasher and freezer safe, so you can wash up on a busy day or freeze small portions ahead of time. Keep the lid off if you want to put a pot in the oven, up to 200°C.

Seal & Go FAQs

It’s very important to us that everything we make is comprised of durable and toxin-free materials: These containers are made with 304 grade stainless steel for the base  and food-grade LFGB certified silicone for the lids.

No, we avoid using plastic in any of our food containers. We use food-grade LFGB certified silicone to create leakproof seals, stainless steel for the majority of our products and have recently introduced borosilicate glass to make meal prep and food storage easier ( removes the guessing games in the fridge)! No, the lunchboxes in the Classic Range are not leakproof. The name “Classic Range” honours our very first product, the Elephant Box, which was designed to resemble traditional Indian tiffins – and like most tiffins, made from 100% stainless steel, these lunchboxes aren't typically leakproof.

Yes, all our lunchboxes and food container can go in the dishwasher and freezer. Keep the lids off and all these products can go in the oven up to 200 degrees celsius. Want a microwave safe & plastic free container? Check out our meal prep range here.

Yes. Every pot in the Seal & Go range is made from 304 stainless steel and food-grade LFGB certified silicone — there's no plastic in the container at any point, so there's nothing to leach BPA, phthalates or other chemicals into your food.

Yes — that's exactly what it's designed to be. Instead of plastic tubs that stain, smell and eventually crack, the Seal & Go range gives you the same everyday convenience — snack pots, dressing pots — in stainless steel and silicone that won't degrade over time.

The Snack Pots hold 100ml each and are sold as a pair, and the Dressing Pot Pair holds 50ml each. The snack pots suit toddler portions, weaning or small snacks, while the dressing pots are sized for sauces, dips and dressings.

The stainless steel base can go in the oven, up to 200°C, with the lid removed. They aren't designed for microwave use — if you need a microwave-safe container, take a look at our meal prep range.

Yes — the Seal & Go pots nest inside each other, so they're easy to store in a drawer or pack for a lunchbox or bag.

Yes — the Snack Pots in particular are a popular choice for toddlers and school lunches, since the silicone lid is easy for little hands to open and close, and the leakproof seal means less mess if a pot ends up sideways in a bag.
