Made ethically in Sri Lanka from coconut fibre (or coir as it is more commonly known) wrapped around a stainless steel wire. Coir is a natural fibre extracted from between the hard internal shell of the coconut and the outer coat of the coconut. As well as being totally natural, the scourers are naturally antibacterial, free from toxic chemicals, recyclable and biodegradable.
Where to use
Safe on non-stick fry pans, great on hard surfaces like the cooker hob or stove top, and safe for enamel sinks and baths. Coconut fibre is not suitable for plastic surfaces, as some scratching may occur. Put them in the dishwasher or pan of boiling water to clean.
