How to choose the lunchbox that's right for you.
Choosing a lunchbox that will work for you is very important but not necessarily easy!
Getting your lunchbox right will mean that you use it more and will probably mean that you use up more of those leftovers that are sometimes lunched out (sorry) in the fridge.
There are a lot to choose from and it can be hard to know where to start. That's where we come in. We're here to help.
Firstly, let's have a think about your lunch.
What do you usually take?
Do you need your lunchbox to be leakproof? Then think about what size you need and do you want tiers or compartments? Or are you someone who mixes it up from one day to the next?
Already overwhelmed? Fear not.
If most of the time you take a juicy salad or saucy pasta then you need a leakproof lunchbox. Check out our leakproof range of lunchboxes here.
The Clip & Seal Lunch Boxes are a great choice if you want to pack your lunch bento style - as they come with a removable divider. Plus we stock extra leakproof snack pots and dressing pots if you want to dress your salad or take a dip separately.
If you usually take a more 'traditional' packed lunch - Sandwiches, crisps, apple, cake - browse our Classic Lunchbox range . The Original Elephant Box is our best selling 'proper' lunchbox - with a 2 litre capacity it can fit a round of sandwiches, and apple and plenty more. It's great for a tough school lunchbox as you can be flexible with lunch options as it can fit other containers inside it. Perhaps you want to separate things like some nuts or veg sticks or take a dip or dressing to add later. There's a list below of what fits inside.
For younger kids or smaller appetites the Three-in-One or Two-in-One Lunchbox will work very well. Both of them have a handy snack pod inside. Neither of these lunchboxes are leakproof but the 50ml dressing pot will fit inside if you want to take dressing or ketchup with you.
Our latest range of steel and glass lunchboxes and food containers are perfect if you want to take lunch to heat up when you get to work. Check out the microwave safe stainless steel lunchboxes here.
We hope this helps you decide. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at info@elephantbox.co.uk We really want you to get the right thing and are always happy to answer any questions.
PS Don’t forget your spork 😊
